After a short break, Team India will return for the limited-overs series against Sri Lanka, starting from January 3. While senior players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul are set to miss the shortest format of the game, they are likely to return for the ODI series, which is scheduled to begin on January 10.

Meanwhile, the ODI series will see senior players return to the squad. After having a ordinary series against Bangladesh, Shikhar Dhawan has been dropped from the 50-over series against the Lankan side.
