Australian batter Steven Smith reacted to Virat Kohli’s hilarious antics after the third ODI between India and Australia in Rajkot. Both these batting stalwarts scored top-notch fifties in a high-intensity battle in the furnace-like atmosphere of the SCA Stadium. Especially for the Aussies, the visitors couldn’t deal with the heat.

Here Smith, struggling with the high temperatures, had to take a break as the Aussie subs brought out a chair, ice and towels to help him. As the play halted, Virat Kohli tried to joke around and showed off his dance moves as he interacted with Marnus Labuschange. Reacting to this incident, Smith posted a story and wrote, “Nice Moves” with a laughing emoji and tagged his Indian counterpart.

These high temperatures were a talking point after the game as well, KL Rahul, India’s stand-in captain for the first two games, shared an anecdote from the first game in Mohali. As the Men in Blue fielded first, the Indian players could bear the heat as the conditions turned out to be worse than their previous tournament in Sri Lanka.

While talking to Abhishek Nair, Mark Waugh and Samir Chandok, in the post-match presentation, Rahul said, “It has been really challenging physically. The weather and conditions in Colombo were what we thought would be the worst we could get but then we turned up in Mohali... I said this after that game as well, I said in the huddle ‘We’ve come from Colombo, this can't be worse.' It is Mohali, it must be pleasant. Three overs later, when Mitch Marsh got out everybody looked at each other and said skip, you've made the worst decision by opting to bat. It is a good challenge that we get used to it because we will have similar conditions to deal with in the World Cup.”
