After registering a commanding win in the first Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, India will take on Prime Minister’s XI for a two-day pink-ball practice match. The match will help the side prepare for the forthcoming second Test against Pat Cummins’ led Australia, which will be a day-night pink-ball game in Adelaide. Notably, in the opening game of the elite competition, India took down the hosts by a margin of 295 runs. Now, ahead of the second Test, India will square off against the Prime Minister’s XI in a two-day practice match at the Manuka Oval.
The match will begin on November 30, and it holds great importance for the hosts as it will be the first time they will play a day-night game since March 2022, when the side locked horns with Sri Lanka in Bengaluru.
