India have an unassailable 2-1 lead over hosts South Africa in the four-match T20I series with the final game set to be played at the Wanderers in Johannesburg. In the third T20I, the visitors posted a mammoth score of 219 runs on the board, thanks to the first international hundred from Tilak Varma and a fifty from Abhishek Sharma at the SuperSport Park in Centurion.
In the run chase, India always had the upper hand with their spinners delivering impressive spells, especially Axar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi, while Varun Chakravarthy was quite good except for one over against Heinrich Klaasen. In the later half of the South African innings, Marco Jansen struck a flurry of boundaries, to take the hosts closer to the target, but ultimately, they lost the game by 11 runs.

Openers: Sanju Samson (wk), Abhishek Sharma
After scoring the hundred in the first T20I of the series, Sanju Samson got castled twice in the first over of the innings against Marco Jansen without troubling the scorers, which is something he will look to overcome in the final game. Abhishek Sharma was struggling for runs in the lead-up to the third T20I, but he scored a swashbuckling fifty, to keep the faith selectors have shown in him in recent times.
