3. Harry Brook - Except for the maiden IPL century during his first season in the tournament, Harry Brook struggled massively with the bat for Sunrisers Hyderabad. In his 11 appearances for the 2016 league champions, Brook got only 190 runs at an average of 21.11 and strike-rate of 123.38.

4. Aiden Markram - Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Aiden Markram was given the responsibility of leading an IPL franchise for the first-time ever, but he was quite disappointing, both as the player and the leader. Markram put together 248 runs at a low average of 22.55 and a meagre strike-rate of 125.89 in 13 matches as his side finished at the bottom of the points table.

5. Sarfaraz Khan - As one of the most promising youngsters in Indian cricket, Delhi Capitals had invested in Sarafraz Khan to be a mainstay in the middle order for the team. He participated in only four matches for DC while scoring just 53 runs in the entire IPL.

6. Deepak Hooda - The Indian international Deepak Hooda, who played the IPL 2023 season for Lucknow Super Giants, had a forgettable league campaign to say the very least. He did take part in 12 matches for the UP-based franchise, but scored just 84 runs to end his tournament on a poor note.
