Two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders will battle it out against Lucknow Super Giants on Saturday night at the Eden Gardena in Kolkata in their last league game of the season. In the IPL 2023 points table, KKR have had a season full of ups and downs and have managed the seventh spot with 12 points in 13 matches. Lucknow Super Giants, on the other hand, have had a slightly better outing in the tournament so far as they have won seven of their 13 games and are in the third position.

The Super Giants have shown great character even after losing their star batter and skipper KL Rahul. LSG’s last fixture was against the Mumbai Indians which they won by a close margin of five runs. The two teams have clashed just two times against each other with LSG winning both matches. LSG will confirm their qualification with a win in this match, or else they will have to depend on other results to qualify for the playoffs.
