The runs at the top of the order from Prabhsimran Singh and captain Shikhar Dhawan in recent matches has been one of the biggest reasons why Punjab Kings are well within reach of the IPL playoffs spot this late in the tournament. The likes of Liam Livingstone and Jitesh Sharma putting up good scores on the board in middle to end overs for PBKS, has also helped the cause immensely. Meanwhile, in the bowling department, the wickets from Harpreet Brar, Rahul Chahar, and Nathan Ellis has led to the Kings becoming a more formidable outfit than before.
Rajasthan Royals had a wretched time in Jaipur the last time they played an IPL match, where they were bowled out under 60 runs by Royal Challengers Bangalore in a must win encounter. Even though Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler have been amongst the runs for RR this season, they haven’t managed to put together a strong opening stand for the team in their last few outings.
