Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have retained only 13 players ahead of the IPL 2024 auction. The 2024 edition will also mark the return of their skipper Shreyas Iyer in the squad, after he missed the 2023 season with injury. Kolkata had a disappointing IPL season in 2023 due to their lack in batting depth and absence of pacers in the team.

KKR had a total purse of INR 32.7 Crores before start of auction.
They had a maximum of 12 slots available for the IPL 2024 auction out of which four are for overseas players.
