Royal Challengers Bangalore Head Rajesh V Menon had a hilarious reaction as Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood came up for bidding during  the IPL 2024 auction. Hazlewood was one of the top players released by the Bangalore-based franchise after having a sub-par 2023 season which was also riddled by injuries.

Further, a day before the IPL 2024 auction, news broke about Hazlewood being unavailable for the first half of the upcoming season. Hence as the camera panned towards the RCB table at the Coca-Cola arena, the VP & Head of Royal Challengers Bangalore  was seen showing folded hands.

Further talking about the IPL 2024 auction, Royal Challengers Bangalore was focused on rebuilding their bowling attack as they picked up West Indies pacer  Alzarri Joseph for INR 11,50,00,000, Indian left-armer  Yash Dayal for INR 5,00,00,000 and all-rounders  Tom Curran  ( INR 1,50,00,000).
