The inaugural IPL champions, Rajasthan Royals have a very good side on paper with solid batters and gun bowlers in squad. Hence, they had a less work to do in the IPL 2024 auction.

RR had a purse amount of INR 14.5 Crores before start of the auction.
They had a maximum of 8 slots available for the IPL 2024 auction of which three of them were for the overseas players.

Rajasthan Royals released players: Joe Root, Abdul Basith, Jason Holder, Akash Vashisth, Kuldip Yadav, Obed McCoy, Murugan Ashwin, KC Cariappa, KM Asif, Devdutt Padikkal (Traded to RR).
