The reigning champions Chennai Super Kings announced the names of players they have released ahead of the IPL 2024 mini-auction. The IPL auction is set to take place on December 19 in Dubai, and the franchises were asked to announce the names of the players they wanted to release and retain. Chennai Super Kings, one of the strongest teams went on to win their fifth title under the leadership of Mahendra Singh Dhoni in 2023.
Looking forward, the team wouldn’t wish to shake their winning combination. However, the Yellow Army wanted to release their highly valued players to increase their purse value for the auction. The Chennai-based franchise has a remaining purse of ₹1.50 crore, which they have increased by releasing the below-mentioned players. The IPL 2024 players released will go under the hammer and get the opportunity to join another team before the league begins.
