Match 30 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, which was played between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the SunRisers Hyderabad was nothing short of a run fest. After being invited to bat first by the RCB skipper Faf du Plessis, the Pat Cummins-led SRH put up 287 runs on the board, etching the highest-ever total in IPL history.
With this, they also broke their previous record of 277 runs, which they scored against the Mumbai Indians in March 2024. The Hyderabad-based outfit also posted the second highest total in T20 history. Moreover, the match between RCB and SRH, which was played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru also broke the record for highest aggregate for a T20 match with a tally of 549 runs.
