Indian Premier League is set to start on March 22 when the defending champions Chennai Super Kings will be up against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai. With the superstars of Indian cricket MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma, back in action, the fans in large numbers are seeking to get tickets for their preferred matches to watch their favorite players live.
However, despite IPL being just eight days away, only six out of ten teams have provided the details on how to get tickets for the matches. Teams like Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Gujarat Titans, Punjab Kings, Lucknow Super Giants, and Delhi Capitals have opened tickets or pre-registration.

How to buy tickets for Mumbai Indians games
Mumbai Indians have opened their fourth phase of tickets wherein the fans can purchase the tickets through the scanner, provided on their X (formerly Twitter) post.
In the first phase of the ticket sale, the fans purchased tickets through Slice UPI, if they had purchased it. It started from March 6 onwards. In the second phase, the tickets were available for special access for Gold, Silver, and Junior members which began on March 9.
The third phase saw tickets for ‘Blue members’, which started on March 10.
How to buy tickets for Kolkata Knight Riders matches
The Shah Rukh Khan-owned Kolkata Knight Riders have made tickets available for their season opener game against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The fans can book the tickets online or by directly reaching the box office. The price range starts from INR 750 to INR 28,000 depending on the stands.
How to buy tickets for Gujarat Titans matches
The 2022 winners Gujarat Titans will be starting the sale of their tickets from March 14 from six different locations in Gujarat. The ticket counter will open from 11 A.M to 6 P.M and the tickets won’t be available online. Tickets can be purchased only in person.
How to buy tickets for DC, LSG, and PBKS matches
The three tickets haven’t opened the sale of their tickets. However, they have opened the pre-registration of the tickets which the fans can register by going to the Paytm Insider website and outlets.
How to buy tickets for CSK, RCB, RR and SRH matches
The four franchises haven’t yet updated about the sale of tickets for their games. However, with the season opener set to be played in Chennai, they are likely to provide updates on the tickets soon. Paytm Insider will be the official ticketing partner of the MS Dhoni-led team and SunRisers Hyderabad.
While tickets for Rajasthan Royals matches will be available on the BookMyShow app and website, RCB have not provided any updates on the sale of tickets for their matches.
