On Monday, November 25, following the conclusion of the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have completed their squad for the upcoming season of the league. The biggest signing of Kolkata Knight Riders was Venkatesh Iyer, who got bought for a whopping INR 23.75 crore after his splendid showing with the bat in the title-winning season for the franchise earlier this year despite a limited budget at the auction.

Aiming to repeat the success of last season, Kolkata Knight Riders focused on building a similar squad to their 2024 title-winning campaign. KKR managed to bring back key players like Venkatesh Iyer, Manish Pandey, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Vaibhav Arora, and Rahmanullah Gurbaz in the squad. Additionally, they added prominent names like Quinton de Kock, Spencer Johnson, and Anrich Nortje, to strengthen the team further.
