The highly anticipated IPL 2025 mega auction, which will decide the fate of 577 shortlisted players, is currently underway at the Abady Al Johar Arena in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. With just 204 slots up for grabs, including 70 overseas ones, only a select few out of 367 Indian and 210 overseas players will be picked by the Indian Premier League (IPL) teams for the 2025 season. Prasidh Krishna, who is one of the sought-after Indian players in the mega auction, has been signed by Gujarat Titans for INR 9.50 Crore.

After missing the last two seasons due to injury, Prasidh Krishna registered himself for a base price of INR 2 Crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction. The war for the Indian pacer began with Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans, but with the player crossing the INR 9 Crore mark, the Royals were first to bow out of the race and with that, the Titans secured his services for INR 9.50 Crore.

The 6 feet 3-inch tall bowler is known for his ability to take wickets with the new ball, in the middle overs, and at the death. He can swing the ball both ways in the powerplay, and has variations for the later stages of the game including a fizzing yorker and off cutter slower ball.
