The return of English fast bowler Jofra Archer to Rajasthan Royals is one of the most noteworthy moments in the auction for inaugural champions, who were quite reserved with their bidding after splurging most of their purse on retained players.
The Sanju Samson-led team has a lot of top quality batters, which they had decided to keep before the IPL 2025 mega auction, including the names like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag, and Shimron Hetmyer. In the bowling side of things, the likes of Jofra Archer, Sandeep Sharma, Maheesh Theekshana, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Akash Madhwal are expected to be prominent features in the playing XI for the next season.
