SRH IPL 2025 Schedule: SunRisers Hyderabad to kick off their campaign at home against RR on March 23

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday, February 16 announced much-awaited schedule for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. While the tournament will see its 18^th edition, where 10 teams will lock horns to get their hands on the coveted title on May 25.

The two-month long tournament, which will kick off on March 22, will see a total of 74 matches being played across 13 venues, including 70 league stage matches. During the course of the tournament, each franchise will play 14 league matches, eyeing to seal a spot in the top four to feature in the playoffs. Pat Cummins’ SRH will also eye to end their title drought after they reached the final, but could not go past KKR’s challenges in IPL 2024.

As they set their eyes on the prize, the Orange Army will kick start their campaign against inaugural IPL winners, Rajasthan Royals on March 23 at their home, Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.  They will then take on Lucknow Super Giants on March 27 in Hyderabad, followed by a clash against Delhi Capitals in Vizag.

Pat Cummins-led side will play another away match, before returning to Hyderabad for the clash against Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings. During the course of the tournament, they will play seven matches at home and seven away. In a notable move, IN IPl 2025, Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad will also host the Qualifier 1 and Eliminator.
