The Indian keeper-batter, who has been named in India D for the opening round, however, remains doubtful for the match with Sanju Samson likely to replace him in the side. Moreover, it is to be seen that Sanju Samson hasn’t been named in the squads for the domestic tournament, but with reported injury to Kishan, he is set to replace him in India D.
The 26-year-old recently featured in the ongoing Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament, where he was representing his state team, Jharkhand. However, his participation was limited to only two games as his side could not go past the league stage. Speaking of the Duleep Trophy 2024, the four-team competition will see the teams playing three matches each. While the first round will commence from September 5, Team D’s second match is scheduled to start from September 12.
