FC Goa didn’t get a winning start to their campaign in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25. They lost their opening match against Jamshedpur FC by 1-2 on Tuesday, September 17. However, FC Goa wouldn’t be thinking much about that loss and will be looking to build a strong line-up that could make them win their maiden ISL title this year. Head coach Manolo Marquez is also coming with his second season with FC Goa. Under his stint, Hyderabad FC won the title in 2021-22.
FC Goa have finished as the runners-up in the ISL twice in 2015-16 and 2018-19 respectively. However, they haven’t been able to cross the finishing line and are still waiting for their maiden ISL title.
