The Indian women's 25m pistol team clinched the gold at the ISSF Shooting World Championship in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Sunday. Rhythm Sangwan, Esha Singh and Manu Bhaker registered a score of 1744 to beat Chinese Taipei in the final.

Tien Chia Chen, Tu Yi Tzu and Wu Chia Ying of Chinese Taipei shot 1743 to secure silver while China settled for the bronze medal. With this win, India won its third gold medal at the ISSF Shooting World Championship and has so far registered five medals overall.
Esha Singh and Shiva Narwal won the gold in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. While Mehuli Ghosh, Tilottama Sen, and Ramita took home the top spot in the 10m rifle women's team event. Ghosh also won the bronze in the 10m rifle event and secured qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
