Paris St Germain forward Kylian Mbappe revealed his desire to represent his country at the forthcoming Olympics 2024, scheduled in Paris. Mbappe said that he desires to play at the marquee event for his national side. Mbappe revealed his dream during one of the press conferences amidst his transfer saga around his dream move to Real Madrid. His move to Madrid might complicate his participation in the 2024 Olympics. 

However, he assured the reporters that his future would be decided before the commencement of the Euro 2024 and that he has nothing to announce as of now. Talking about his dream of playing at the Olympics, Mbappe said, “I always wanted to play at the Olympics and my desire has not changed. If I play the Olympics then it will be a dream, but if I'm not allowed to, then I will do as I'm told. The decision is still up to one person and they haven't told me yes or no.”

Mbappe talks about his future amid Real Madrid interest

Talking about his future, the 25-year-old PSG star said, “I have still not announced anything on my future as I’ve nothing to announce. I've always said that when I have something to announce, I'll do it as a man. I think my future will be resolved before the Euros, yes.” 

Notably, Mbappe has been in his red-hot form since the 2015-2016 season and has scored 38 goals along with eight assists in 37 matches he has played in all competitions. He is expected to join Real Madrid in the summer and his family has already started to look for homes in Madrid. As per several reports, he informed the PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi that he has no desire to stay with the side anymore.
