Abhishek and Head stitch the highest partnership of IPL 2025
Abhishek, along with his opening partner Travis Head, built a 171-run stand for the opening wicket in just 74 balls. It is the most successful partnership of the season, thus far. The majestic opening stand handed SRH an explosive start in the chase. Head notched up 66 off 37 and played a vital role in making the chase successful for Hyderabad, along with Abhishek.
This was SRH’s second victory in the competition and the Orange Army will next look to get the better of Mumbai Indians (MI) at the iconic Wankhede Stadium on April 17. The Sunrisers’ emphatic win against Punjab has relegated CSK on the points table as the Yellow Army are at the bottom of the tally with just one win and five defeats.
