South African cricketer AB de Villiers expressed his frustration with the coverage of the UEFA Champions League final. The game was played on June 10, Saturday between Manchester City and Inter Milan at the Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul with City taking over Inter Milan 1-0. The former South Africa skipper was unhappy with the way it was presented by the commentators and called them out for saying Inter had the upper hand during the game.

The game saw Midfielder Rodri scoring the winner in the 68th minute. Mr 360, as he is known by his fans, pointed out that Inter Milan managed their first shot on target midway through the second half when Lukaku was called in as a substitute.

Taking it to Twitter, ABD said, "I’ve never played an official game of football (soccer) before. I have, however, played some very competitive social games and absolutely love the game.  Watching this Champs League final, it’s been incredibly irritating that the commentators, from the start have been claiming that Inter has had the upper hand?! And not just claiming, they keep going on about it.”

He added, "I love sport, and it’s super clear that it’s not the case. Inter literally just had their first shot on target from Lukaku off the bench halfway through the 2nd half. There has been, and currently is only one team on the pitch. Bearing in mind it’s a final and was always gonna be scratchy." The 39-year-old cricketer added, "And PS. i’m a Man U supporter. I just enjoy Sport being called out accurately and for what it is. Just my 5 cents for the night."

The former South African cricketer also revealed that he will be following the Roland Garros final between Novak Djokovic and Casper Rudd on Sunday as he concluded by saying, "Tomorrow some intriguing Tennis."

Manchester City scripted history as they decimated Nerazzurri by winning the competition for the first time. With this triumph, Pep Guardiola has won the competition twice as manager, achieving the feat as Barcelona in the 2008-2009 season.
