India's ace fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and his wife, Indian sports presenter, Sanjana Ganesan welcomed their first child together. Sanjana gave birth to a healthy baby boy on September 4, Monday, and as per the reports, both mother and the baby are doing absolutely fine.
Notably, Ganesan and the cricketing wizard tied the knot on March 15, 2021, in a private ceremony in Goa, in front of their family members and close friends, after dating one another for over two years. They both reportedly met for the first time during one of their assignments on the cricket field, before they got romantically involved with each other.
Though the couple never announced their pregnancy publicly, there were several rumours regarding the same. However, it was Bumrah's return to Mumbai ahead of India's clash against Nepal that confirmed that the couple was about to welcome their first born.
" Our little family has grown & our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine! This morning we welcomed our little boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah into the world. We are over the moon and can’t wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it ❤️," they captioned the post sharing the picture with the little hands of their newly born.
The 29-year-old cricketer made his comeback in the ODI squad after his overcoming an injury battle. The Ahmedabad-born player suffered a lower-back stress fracture last year and underwent a surgery in April 2023. Before the marquee continental tournament, Bumrah led India's expedition to Ireland, and won the series 2-0.
