India's frontline pacer Jasprit Bumrah has created history by becoming the first-ever bowler to reach the number 1 ICC rankings in all three formats of the game. He has achieved the number 1 ICC rankings in Test cricket after his stunning spell off 9/91 vs England at Visakhapatnam in the previous Test match. Previously he reached the number 1 ICC rankings in T20Is during November 2017 and also the number 1 ICC rankings in ODIs during 2018.
Jasprit Bumrah has become only the fourth player after Ricky Ponting, Virat Kohli and Shakib Al Hasan to have reached the number 1 ICC rankings in all three formats of the game. Bumrah has a total of 155 wickets in Tests, 149 wickets in ODIs, and 74 wickets in his T20I career overall. Bumrah has been a key bowler for team India in all three formats of the game since he made his Test debut against South Africa in January 2018 at Cape Town.
Interestingly, Bumrah has taken a total of 113 out of 155 wickets in Test cricket in SENA countries.
