Indian batting great Yuvraj Singh created history by smashing six consecutive sixes against England in the ICC T20 World Cup in 2007. But before the incident, Singh got into a sledging contest with English all-rounder Andrew Flintoff that eventually led to the Indian to obliterate a young Stuart Broad. Recently, a video has been making the rounds of the internet, where Yuvraj Singh revealed his words to Flintoff after the six sixes.

The video is from a speaking event, where the Indian all-rounder is asked about his response to Andrew Flintoff after his carnage against Broad. Singh, jokingly shared, said something which Indian batting star Virat Kohli, tends to say as he expresses aggression in the field. Then, Singh shared that he told Flintoff, “Ben Stokes” as the audience broke out with laughter.

Coming back to the match, Yuvraj Singh was in brilliant form as he managed to score the then fastest half-century in T20 cricket. Singh started with 14 off his first six balls before scoring the six sixes. Eight out of his first 14 runs came against Andrew Flintoff in the 18th over and then the duo got into a verbal spat which led to the six sixes.
Talking about their conversation with Flintoff between overs, Yuvraj, during a Instagram Live chat with former English cricketer Kevin Pietersen, he said, “I think Freddie bowled two good balls and he bowled a yorker which I managed to hit for a boundary. Then he told me that this was a dash shot, he got pretty elaborative. He said I am gonna cut your throat off.”

“Then I replied saying you see this bat in my hand? You know where I am gonna hit you with this bat? I remember I was so angry when I hit Broadie for six sixes, I looked at Dimitri Mascarenhas and then I looked at Freddie,” he continued.
