Real Madrid took on Juventus in their final match of the Soccer Champions Tour 2023 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida on August 2, Wednesday. This was Real Madrid’s fourth pre-season friendly, and they were coming on the back of a heavy loss (3-0) against Barcelona in Las Vegas’ El Clasico. However, their final US tour match didn’t turn out to be how the Los Blancos would have expected.

Real Madrid absolutely dominated the game but lacked accuracy which cost them a win. They carved out numerous chances to turn the game around against Juventus, but things didn’t end in their favor and the Italians’ two goals in the first half led them to victory.
Things seemed to slip out of Madrid’s hands when Juventus’ Moise Kean struck the first goal within a minute and put them forward. However, Madrid were still looking hopeful and were looking forward to replying back with a strike by Vini Jr. Not only this, but Madrid almost drew the game again in the 10th minute when Antonio Rudiger’s header landed into the keeper’s hands.

The next goal of the winners came from Tim Weah, assisted by Weston McKennie as he got on the end of a low cross from McKennie. Vinicius Jr. hit one back for his side before the halftime but the collective effort from the team fell short as Dusan Vlahovic came in to score another for his side and took the score 3-1.
