Karachi Kings took a swipe at Multan Sultans captain Mohammad Rizwan for his "win ya learn" comment. In the third Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 game, Kings chased down a humongous target of 235 runs in the last over and won their maiden PSL 2025 match against Multan. James Vince stepped up and played a 101-run knock off 43 to help Karachi pull off the total. It was Karachi’s highest chase in their league history. Earlier, Multan captain Rizwan produced an unbeaten innings of 105 off 63 and struck the first hundred of PSL 2025. Riding on their captain’s knock, Multan reached a score of 234/3.

However, the rivalry went off the field as Karachi posted a celebratory clip on Instagram which featured the AI version of Vince and Khushdil Shah. Karachi captioned the video, “No learns only wins.” The post was aimed at Rizwan, who often gets trolled on social media for his famous line “ya toh win hai, ya learn hai.” The Pakistan One-Day International (ODI) skipper said it earlier in 2024. Later, Karachi removed the quote from the post.

Multan Sultans will be expected to make a comeback against Islamabad United

Multan Sultans’ next encounter will be against defending champions Islamabad United at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on April 16. United played magnificently in the opening match against Lahore Qalandars, bagging a convincing eight-wicket win. The Shadab Khan-led side has the potential to worsen Multan captain’s headache.

Rizwan will be expected to recollect himself to lead the team from the front in the upcoming contest. The 32-year-old displayed courage in his team’s maiden contest and went on to hit a ton. He will expect his bowlers to show discipline and find a way to contain United’s dangerous batting attack. Islamabad possesses the batting names such as Sahibzada Farhan, Colin Munro, Salman Ali Agha, Azam Khan, and Shadab Khan, who are known for taking bowling units to the cleaners.
