With Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 just a month away from start, the defending champions in Chennai Super Kings have been boosted with more brand value with the joining of Katrina Kaif. The Bollywood celebrity has been reportedly roped in as the brand ambassador of the side.
As reported by ABP News, the five-time champions will add on to their brand value by the inclusion of the B-town celebrity in Katrina Kaif. Moreover, the reports state that the franchise will also be making some changes to their logo ahead of the forthcoming edition, seeing that they have qualified for the playoffs in 12 seasons out of the 14 seasons they have featured in. However, the franchise is yet to make an official announcement in regard to the same.
The MS Dhoni-led CSK will enter the 2024 edition of the tournament as the defending champions and will aim to seal the title with the hope that it could be MS Dhoni’s last. The side, apart from MS Dhoni, boosts of the likes of Ravindra Jadeja, Ajinkya Rahane, Ruturaj Gaikwad. They also have youngster Rachin Ravindra along with Daryl Mitchell, Devon Conway, Matheesha Pathirana in their ranks.
Speaking of IPL 2024, the biggest franchise league in the world, is likely to start on March 22 or 23 of this year. As per the reports, the schedule of the tournament is expected to be out soon, but it is speculated to start in a week’s time after the conclusion of the WPL 2024.
