Paki stan all-rounder Iftikhar Ahmed got miffed when a fan called him Chachu during the second T20I against New Zealand. After the first T20I clash in Auckland, action shifted to Hamilton, where New Zeland hosted the Men in Green for the second game on January 14, Sunday. During the game, when Ahmed was fielding near the boundary, a Pakistan fan mocked Ahmed that he didn’t like, and hit back at him furiously.

In a video doing rounds on social media, the Pakistan cricketer could be seen asking the fan not to call him 'Chachu'. The fan told Ahmed that he was a fan, but the cricketer asked him to shut by saying, “Khamosh rahiye”. Pakistan’s newly-elected captain Shaheen Afridi won the toss and invited the hosts to bat first. The Kiwis did well with the bat and put up a total of 194 runs with the loss of eight wickets.

In reply to the fighting total posted by the hosts, Pakistan got off to a poor start as they ended up losing both their openers Saim Ayub (1) and Mohammad Rizwan (7) with just 10 runs on the scoreboard. Fakhar Zaman then scored a 24-ball half-century to give some momentum and establish a platform for his side. Former skipper Babar Azam recorded 66 runs to give his side some stability.

However, after Pakistan lost Zaman in the 10th over, things went downhill from there and the Men in Green kept losing wickets at regular intervals. The bowlers bundled out their guests for 173 in 19.3 overs to secure a win in the match by 21 runs. Both sides will meet for the third T20I on January 17, Wednesday at the University Oval in Dunedin.
