The ski resort of Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district will host the third edition of the Khelo India National Winter Games, starting next month. The third edition of the games will start on February 10 and will conclude on February 14. Around 2000 athletes from different parts of the country will converge in Gulmarg to compete in different sports.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Anurag Thakur unveiled the mascot, anthem, and jersey of the Khelo India Winter Games, on Saturday (February 4). The first season of the Khelo India Winter Games took place in 2020 and hosts Jammu and Kashmir sealed the top spot in both editions of the games. In order to enhance the popularity of the winter games, seven different sporting disciplines had been added to the schedule.

Around 1,500 athletes across the country will take part in the games that will take place in Gulmarg. Nine sports events will feature in Winter Games.
