Star Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter Virat Kohli went on smash his second fifty of IPL 2025 in the ongoing match against Mumbai Indians. After hitting a match-winning 59 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders, Kohli couldn’t get a big knock in the next two matches against Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans respectively. Now, the opening batter finally got his form back as he smashed a 30-ball half-century against MI at Wankhede Stadium.
Talking about the match, coming to bat first after losing the toss, RCB lost their first wicket on the second ball of the innings as Trent Boult cleared Phil Salt’s stumps getting hit for a boundary on the first ball. After that, Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal put up a partnership of 91 runs for the second wicket.

Devdutt Padikkal got out after scoring 37 runs off 22 balls hitting two fours and three sixes. Meanwhile, Kohli went on to complete his half-century in just 30 deliveries.
