Following an epic win in the final of the IPL 2024 against Sunrisers Hyderabad, the players of Kolkata Knight Riders celebrated their triumph in style at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. In the post-match show with JioCinema, when Suresh Raina asked Rinku Singh to sing a movie song of Shah Rukh Khan, he obliged with “Kiska hai ye tumko intezar…” from Main Hoon Na.
The IPL 2024 final between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad was one of the most lop-sided championship matches in the history of the tournament. After getting bundled out for just 113 runs inside 19 overs, SRH were unable to stop KKR batters from chasing the target with eight wickets in hand and 57 balls to spare.
After winning the IPL title for the first-time in his career, Rinku Singh made an appearance on JioCinema’s post show, where he had a fun time alongside the host, one of his idols, Suresh Raina, and Parthiv Patel. The left-handed batter is known to be an upfront personality, and he showcased it to the fullest during his chat with Raina and Patel.
The official X account of the Indian Premier League (IPL) also posted a video of Rinku Singh celebrating the title win of Kolkata Knight Riders in an exuberant manner. They captioned it, “GOD'S PLAN, ft Rinku Singh. Unfiltered joy & pure adoration like a child's dream coming true. One dream ticked, On to the next one now.”
Rinku Singh is now slated to make a long trip to the USA alone, where he will join the rest of his Indian teammates, who are going to be playing the T20 World Cup 2024 next month. The 26-year-old is one of the four players on the travelling reserves list for the Indian cricket team in the upcoming ICC tournament, and with that, there is a possibility of him making his World Cup debut as a replacement player.
