The developers of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), Krafton accidentally leaked the posters of the upcoming BGMI Pro Series (BMPS) 2023. The screenshot of the leaked poster has been going viral since then all-over social media. The screenshot claims that the wait for BMPS is going to get over in a few days and is expected to be in the market within a few days.
As the viral screenshot shows a timer of three days, which indicates that the announcement for BMPS 2023 may happen between November 19 and November 20. To give a little backstory, the BMPS 2023 is a professional league by the BGMI, where professional teams from the Indian esport gaming industry compete for a huge prize pool.
The screenshot might have gone viral, but there are no confirmations from the developers. Not only this, but fans and players also await the official details, including date and format of the tournament, if it will be an invitational event or open for all. Speaking of the inaugural season of the BMPS, the open qualifiers were held before the BMPS in the name of Battlegrounds Mobile India Open Challenge 2022.
The tournament enabled teams to qualify through online qualifiers, where the pool of teams narrowed down with each stage. While the top 32 teams from the open qualifiers competed against 32 invited teams, 24 teams advanced to BMPS Season 1, where Team Seoul emerged as the winners.
