During the recently ended IPL 2025 clash between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals at Chepauk, many fans made several speculations regarding MS Dhoni’s future in the cash-rich league. Notably, Dhoni’s parents were also present in the stands during CSK’s clash against DC. Along with them, his wife Sakshi Singh and daughter Ziva also made appearance in the match.
After spotting the whole Dhoni family in the stands, fans started making speculations that it could be the last IPL game for the CSK wicketkeeper. The speculations also rose after video went viral on social media where Sakshi Singh can be seen telling something to Ziva while MS Dhoni was at the crease against DC. In the video, many fans speculated that Sakshi has confirmed to her daughter that it is last IPL game for Dhoni.

CSK suffer third consecutive loss in IPL 2025
Talking about the match, the five-time champions CSK suffered their third consecutive loss in IPL 2025 after DC defeated them at Chepauk by 25 runs. With this, DC not only registered their third consecutive win of the season but also defeated CSK at Chepauk after 15 years. The Axar Patel-led side is now at the top of the points table with third straight wins in a row.
Batting first, Delhi Capitals posted 183 runs off the loss of six wickets in their 20 overs. KL Rahul turned out to be star with his knock of 77 runs off 51 balls, hitting six fours and three sixes. In reply, Vijay Shankar scored an unbeaten on 69*(54) runs while MS Dhoni scored 30*(26) runs but is wasn't enough as CSK could only reach 158 runs losing five wickets in their 20 overs.
