After the successful completion of the US Open, the tennis world gets ready to host the Laver Cup 2022 which will be the tournament’s fifth edition. The indoor hard court men's team tennis tournament between Team Europe and Team World will be staged in London this year from 23-25 September. The Big three of tennis, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Roger Federer will team up for Team Europe to take on the Team World. 

Meanwhile, Team World will have the likes of Felix Auger Aliassime, Frances Tiafoe, and Taylor Fritz. The two teams will lock horns in five sessions played over three days. Team Europe are the defending champions of the tournament and once again will be the favourites with top players of the sport in the squad.

What is the format of the Laver Cup?

First held in 2017, the Laver Cup pits six of the top players from Europe against six of their counterparts from the rest of the world. The event is comprised of five sessions played over three days.

How many matches will be played in Laver Cup 2022?

A total of 12 matches will be played in Laver Cup 2022. The twelve games will be played in five sessions (three Day sessions and two Night sessions) over three days. Nine Singles matches and three doubles matches will be played.
