Former England captain Kevin Pietersen reacted to a fan’s viral video of chugging beer during an SA20 match. The video was from the MI Cape Town and Paarl Royals in Cape Town on January 19, Sunday. The ongoing season of the South Africa T20 league has been nothing but a series of several thrilling episodes, where fans not only enjoy action on the field but are making sure to enjoy themselves off the field. In one viral video doing rounds on social media, a girl could be seen chugging beer during the encounter between MI and the Royals.

The video of the girl took the internet by storm, where she was caught by the cameras chugging down a glass of beer within seconds. The girl later went on to take the beer cup from the person sitting next to her and ended up chugging it as well. As the video went viral on social media in no time, former English cricketer Kevin Pietersen also reacted to it.
The cricketer-turned-commentator reshared the video on his timeline and wrote, “Legend”.
Talking about the game, Mumbai Indians Cape Town won the toss and let the rivals put score on the board first. Royals’ captain Jos Buttler remained the highest scorer for his side and scored 46 runs off 31 balls when the rest of the batting order surrendered to the lethal bowling attack. Thomas Kaber-starrring MI bowling unit picked eight wickets and the Royals posted a total of 172 runs for their rivals to chase.
In response, Ryan Rickelton hit seven fours and six sixes to lead Mumbai’s batting order and remained at 94* runs off 52 balls. His unbeaten knock guided the side to chase down the score and win the game with 19 balls to spare. The Royals sit at second spot on the standings while the MI Cape Town sit at the third position with nine points.
