After a successful Spanish Grand Prix, Mercedes Driver Lewis Hamilton was spotted having dinner with Columbian popstar Shakira, further fuelling dating rumours. The couple have been speculated to be in a relationship since being captured together during the Miami Grand Prix weekend.
Media reports say Shakira and her children Sasha and Milan landed in Barcelona on Wednesday and later were present at the Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit De Catalunya. At the GP, Hamilton returned to the podium after finishing second behind Max Verstappen as Mercedes managed to clinch its first double-podium with George Russell taking third place.
After the race, the couple were seen dining together at El Parco, a well-known Japanese restaurant in Barcelona. But the pair weren’t alone, as the dinner also included Canadian musician and producer Daniel Caesar, Sudanese singer-songwriter Mustafa and Emirati model Fai Khadra, a close friend of Kendall Jenner.
The dating rumours between Lewis Hamilton and Shakira took seen a rise as the Briton already expressed that he has been very hoping to find a 'Latina' girlfriend. The Mercedes driver, while speaking in the middle of an event expressed that he was looking for a girlfriend: "I need to find a Latina".
Further talking about the Spanish Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton praised Mercedes reserve driver Mick Schumacher for his insights on the track before the Spanish GP. He said, "We’ve got a great team with Mick back in the simulator on Friday night and he did some great work, which helped us get on the right track on Saturday.
"I think we did pretty decent work in trying to understand the different downforce levels and in the race, the car felt great. But honestly, I just couldn't match the times that Max was doing. For George to come from 12th to third is just remarkable. So, really awesome result for us as a team," Hamilton further added.
