Lionel Messi, the Argentinian World Cup winning captain, has made his foray into the cosmetic industry in style with the launch of his very own signature perfume “Messi Eau de Parfum.” The Inter Miami star, who managed to gain tremendous success while playing in the Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States of America in the last year or so, has launched a few business ventures in 2024, and now, he has become a part of the cosmetic industry as well.
Notably, in the ongoing year, Lionel Messi has launched a production house called “525 Rosario,” an energy drink brand called “Mas+,” and a clothing line called “The Messi Store.” With the introduction of “Messi Eau de Parfum,” which has three different categories with nine variants, the 37-year-old is expected to earn a huge success in times to come, just like his wife Antonela Roccuzzo, who has been on the same path with a premium perfume line.

During the launch of his own perfume line, which leans towards a classically fresh, herbal, and blue scent, Lionel Messi said, “I have always been passionate about fragrance, and I am extremely excited to produce my very own signature scent. This is a truly unique and inspirational fragrance, in a personalised bottle, for all fans around the world.”
In his comment on the launch of “Messi Eau de Parfum,” Frank Voelkl, the Principal Perfumer at DSM-Firmenich, said, “The scent is designed to provoke a profound emotional connection. Nestled between freshness and warmth, this Eau de Parfum is not only confident and intriguing but also crafted to resonate with a global audience.”
In each category of “Messi Eau de Parfum,” there will be cardamom, apple leaf, and cypress variants at the top level, while leather natureprint, French iris root, and lavender variants will be in the middle level, along with cedarwood Virginia, vanilla bean, and patchouli variants at the base level.
