Lionel Messi, who has been World's highest-paid athlete, has signed a two-year contract with PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) after spending almost 2 decades with Barcelona FC. Messi is offered a salary of €25m per season in PSG after deduction of all taxes. With add-ons included, his salary is expected to be €35m per season which is around €3 million per month. He has also earned an additional amount of £22 million as a signing fee. As of early 2021, Messi's net worth was speculated to be close to $400 million (not exact figures) and during 2016, he signed an endorsement with Adidas Company for $1 billion and that contract is said to be extended until the end of his playing career.
