The WPL 2024 auction saw only five players being bought for a price of INR 1 Crore and more, where two of them were uncapped Indian players.
Kashvee Gautam being a seam-bowling all-rounder was picked by Gujarat Giants for a price of INR 2 Crore in WPL 2024 auction. She impressed everyone by picking 12 wickets in the recently concluded Senior Women's Trophy from just 7 games at an economy of 4.14 and made herself in demand during the WPL auctions.
Vrinda Dinesh has been in radar to get selected for a huge price in WPL 2024 auction due to her robust power hitting and the consistency shown by her with the bat in the last two domestic seasons. She played a key role with the bat for Karnataka to finish as runners-up, earlier in this year in the Senior Women's One-day competition.

If we see from the above list, only 12 Indians have gone for a price of INR 1 Crore or above in WPL auction history.
Kashvee Gautam and Vrinda Dinesh created history by being the only uncapped Indians to get more than INR 1 Crore in WPL auction.
