The curtains of the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) were called off with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) registering an eight-wicket win over the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday, May 26 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. With the 2024 edition coming to an end, the BCCI along with IPL awarded the honours and the Punjab Kings pacer Harshal Patel emerged the winner of the Purple Cap.
