The curtains of the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) were called off with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) registering an eight-wicket win over the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday, May 26 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. With the 2024 edition coming to an end, the BCCI along with IPL awarded the honours and the Punjab Kings pacer Harshal Patel emerged the winner of the Purple Cap.
It is to be noted that the Purple Cap is awarded to the highest wicket-taker in the highly anticipated cash rich league. Here in this article, we will have a look at a list of players who have won Purple Cap in all 17 editions of the Indian Premier League.
