There has been a lot of work going on at the back-end for Liverpool as multiple key contract situations are being sorted out including those of Mo Salah and Van Dijk. And along with this, it is also expected that several incomings and outgoings could be seen in the upcoming transfer window as Arne Slot looks to further strengthen his squad. And one of the potential outgoings for Liverpool could be Colombian winger Luis Diaz. The 28-year-old recently scored in Liverpool 2-1 victory against West Ham United, taking his G/A tally to 23 for the current season.

The South-American forward has been linked to a move to the Saudi Pro League, with Al-Nassr coming out as potential suitors for the winger. The club has been looking to bolster its attacking unit and have another strong figure alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. And the names on top of their wish list are Liverpool’s Luis Diaz, AC Milan’s Rafeal Leao, and West Ham United’s Mohammed Kudus. Having already signed Jhon Duran in the current season, the Saudi outfit will look to go for another big-money move to swoop one of the above targets.

Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Jarell Quansah on Liverpool’s exit list: Reports

Although Luis Diaz’s current contract is valid till June 2027, it has been observed in recent times that clubs start to negotiate deals with players as early as possible so as to rule out the option of big talents leaving for free. While Liverpool seems to be in the process to pen down new contracts for names like Mo Salah and Van Dijk, the name of Luis Diaz is not often mentioned in these conversations.

It is understood through multiple reports that Liverpool will look to make some good money through the sale of players like Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Jarell Quansah, all of whom are not considered to be a core part of Liverpool’s upcoming project. With Al Nassr in the market for a top-quality winger, it will be interesting to see whether Diaz makes the switch from the Premier League to the Middle East.
