India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja said that the management has already decided India’s playing XI combination for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023. Not only this, but the India star also defended India’s loss in the second ODI against West Indies. Jadeja’s statement came after Team India faced backlash for resting top players like Virat Kohli and skipper Rohit Sharma in the second of the three ODI’s against the Shai Hope’s squad. The decision didn’t result in the favour of the Asian giants as they lost the game by six wickets.
The 34-year-old cricketer defended the management’s decision to try a new combination in the second ODI. He said that the management already knows what combination and lineup the team should play with. Not only this, but the Chennai Super Kings player also talked about the playing XI combination for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 and said that everything has been decided already.

The CSK star said, “Captain and team management knows what combination they are going to play. There is no confusion at all. We didn’t lose the match because of the experiments, sometimes the wicket condition in both the halves also plays a big role.” He added, "One should not come to any conclusion on the basis of one match. The management has already decided what should be the playing XI combination for the Asia Cup.”
Notably, the much-anticipated Asia Cup 2023 will begin from August 30 and last till September 17, with both Pakistan and Sri Lanka jointly hosting the tournament.
