He called for his retirement immediately, and said that he will continue focusing on the T20I format for the national team. Stoinis was named to Australia's preliminary 15-man team for the ICC Champions Trophy ODI event, which begins in Pakistan and the UAE later this month, but he will be replaced in the final squad, which will be announced on February 12.
