The Canadian Grand Prix event that took place on Sunday has been in the news for reasons more than one. As the mega performance of Alex Albon at the Canadian GP garnered headlines, a cute gesture by the Thai-British F1 racer has also caught fans’ attention, and the F1 world could not help but gush over the couple. Albon started off the race at P10, and as the race advanced, several other cars, including Ferraris and Checo overtook him.
Meanwhile, when everyone in the midfield DRS train pitted, Albon decided to finish in his old tires. Albon managed to sustain the pressure from the car behind him and kept faster cars at bay. As a result of his performance, the racer was awarded with the ‘Driver of the Day’ award. After the race, he was roped in for an interview. In a video doing rounds on social media, one of the journalists notices Albon’s girlfriend Lily Muni behind and invites her to join in. Muni, who was quite shy at first, joined Albon and gave him a hug.

The Williams driver asked about his performance to Lily, to which she replied with, “Good, Congratulations”, as the couple giggled. The cute interaction between them went viral in no time and fans bombarded the social media with reactions around the couple.
