Michael Jordan’s son Marcus Pippen plans to get married to girlfriend Larsa Pippen, ex-wife of MJ’s former teammate Scottie Pippen. The couple do not have the approval of either Michael Jordan or Scottie Pippen. The disapproval makes sense as the relationship would make anyone uncomfortable.

But plans to continue with the wedding have been made as Marcus Jordan commented that they are searching for a location. While Larsa Pippen was also seen with an engagement ring, indicating that things are more advanced than once thought. The couple were in West Hollywood for dinner when paparazzi asked Marcus Jordan whether or not a wedding was in the cards. The son of the Chicago Bulls player said that the ceremony was in the works.
He said, “We’re looking for a location,” with a smile on his face. He also added that he and Pippen were kickstarting the planning process. But the couple did not confirm whether they had a date as it is unlikely as they seem to be in the early days of the whole process.
Michael Jordan disapproves of uncomfortable relationship
It's bad enough for the legendary player that his son is dating someone associated with his ex-teammate Scottie Pippen, and even worse as the person in question is Pippen’s ex-wife. Larsa Pippen was married to Scottie Pippen for over 20 years, from 1997 to 2021 and had four children with the 57-year-old ex-NBA player. She is 49 years old, 17 years older than 32-year-old Marcus Jordan.

Alluding that Larsa met Marcus when he was just a child and she was in her 20s, which is a thought that Michael Jordan cannot bring himself to come to terms with. When asked in Paris if he was accepting of his son’s relationship and potential wedding, the NBA legend said he was squarely against the relationship and did not give his approval for the wedding.
Regardless, Marcus Jordan seems to be going ahead with it and is happy with Larsa as she is now.
