On Thursday, August 22, Mohammed Shami, the Indian fast bowler, shared pictures of his new hairstyle on his official X account, leading to the fans reacting in a variety of ways in the comments section. The 33-year-old flaunted his new hair in front of the mirror, while his hair stylist Aalim Hakim, who Mohammed Shami credited for his big transformation, clicked the pictures in the background.
Notably, Mohammed Shami, who has been out of action at the international level since the ODI World Cup 2023, is currently recovering from an ankle injury after undergoing surgery. He was the highest wicket-taker in the tournament, picking up 24 wickets in just seven matches with two five-wicket hauls.
During his time off, Indian pacer also tended to his hair, availing the services of Aalim Hakim, to change his look completely.
In his latest post on X, Mohammed Shami wrote, “New look, same hustle. Moreover, it has been reported that Mohammed Shami could be fit and ready to make a return to international cricket during India’s upcoming Test series against New Zealand this October. Before that, he could also prove his fitness in domestic cricket, playing some matches for Bengal.
