The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced that Morocco, Portugal, and Spain have submitted bidding agreements for the 2030 edition of the FIFA World Cup. The Royal Moroccan Football Federation announced that the submission of the bid agreement by the three nations represent a commitment by the three football federations to uphold the regulations of the bidding process.
Not only this, but the statement released by the FRMF website also laid down the technical aspects of the bid as well as guided the same, which includes its promotion and evaluation. The IANS quoted the FRMF statement as, "The Moroccan, Portuguese and Spanish football federations will now be working together more closely than ever to develop a bid that will enable the FIFA World Cup to exceed all expectations.”

On the other hand, the President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa extended his thanks to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for helping in the development of ‘football like never before’. Meanwhile, the President of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, Pedro Rocha, said, "We are very grateful for the confidence FIFA has shown in our vision so far.”
