The PSL is known for its explosive batting talent and rising stars from Pakistan and around the world. Batters in the PSL play a crucial role in setting and chasing big totals, especially given the fast-paced T20 format. Local players like Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, and Mohammad Rizwan bring consistency and technical prowess, while international stars such as Alex Hales, Rilee Rossouw, and David Miller add firepower and experience. The PSL has also been a great platform for young Pakistani batters to showcase their talent on a big stage, often catching the eyes of national selectors. In this article, we will take a look at the batters with most runs in the PSL till date.

At number one we have Babar Azam who has accumulated a total of 3504 runs till date. Babar started his career with Islamabad United and then moved to Karachi Kings, where he became a superstar. He is currently captaining Peshawar Zalmi. He’s also one of the few with multiple centuries in PSL history and is often relied upon for anchoring innings.

At number two we have Fakhar Zaman with 2525 runs. Having played for Lahore Qalandars, Fakhar is a fearless left-handed opener, who is known for his aggressive intent right from ball one. He’s played some of the most explosive knocks in PSL history, helping Lahore to multiple finals and a title win. At number three we have another local hero in Mohammed Rizwan, who has scored 2403 runs till date. Rizwan started with Lahore Qalandars then moved to the Karachi Kings and has now become a champion leader at Multan Sultans. His leadership has been crucial for Multan, where he also led them to a title.

At number four we have the veteran Shoaib Malik with 2336 runs till date. Malik has played for Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, and Peshawar Zalmi and is one of the most experienced PSL players. Malik is known for stabilizing innings and playing the finisher role when needed.

Last but not the least, we have Rilee Rossouw with 2015 runs and is the only foreign player on this list. Having played for Quetta Gladiators earlier, he was a key part of Multan Sultans later. The South African powerhouse is famous for his aggressive middle-order batting. Rossouw’s fearless approach, particularly against spinners, and his ability to clear boundaries at will have made him one of the most entertaining overseas players in the PSL.
